Y-EDCO is a 24-month Erasmus+ project designed to raise awareness among young people on the impact of plastic pollution in rivers, lakes, and oceans. Through a unique blend of Augmented Reality (AR) tools, digital education, and hands-on engagement, we aim to foster sustainable habits and inspire the next generation of green changemakers.
By building an immersive multilingual digital platform and running local youth workshops, we not only promote environmental literacy but also support youth employability in the green and digital transition. Our mission? Cleaner waters. Empowered youth. A more sustainable tomorrow.
Duration: May 2025 – April 2027
Countries involved: Sweden, Greece, Romania, Malta, Cyprus, Norway

We have now taken the next step in planning the Y-EDCO project and are inviting young people aged 18-28 with an interest in sustainable development to free webinars on 23 and 24 April at 5:00 PM. If none of the times suit you, we can make individual solutions. We will present the project, the training materials and go through how to apply for the autumn workshop in Romania (see below). On 15–17 September, we will hold a 3-day workshop in Romania where two young people from each partner country can apply to participate. Travel and subsistence are paid for by the project.
At the workshop we work with the educational material, where participants are given the opportunity to express their opinions and come up with ideas. Importance will be placed on allowing participants to develop their own youth-driven initiatives/project proposals as Ambassadors for Change. The workshop will be conducted in English.
